Trio de l’île - Brahms et Piazzolla : two masterpieces

                                                                                      Energy, luminosity, audaciousness…

Trio de l'île invites the audience to live romantic drama on another level! Young Johannes Brahms's unavowed love for Clara Schumann and Astor Piazzola's obsession with defending The New Tango to the point of fisticuffs led these two strong personalities to forever change chamber music.

Of Armenian origin, fluent in five languages and mastering the innumerable challenges of Liszt and Prokofiev, pianist Patil Harboyan provides the Trio de l'île with the colours of her fascinating personality.

Grand prize winner at the Prix d'Europe 2018 and ranked among the "30 best musicians under 30 in Canada," Dominique Beauséjour-Ostiguy was immersed in music from childhood. He plays, arranges, composes and has a blast whether it's rock or classical music.

For Uliana Drugova, music is lived lavishly in every gesture, every breath. It is her reason for living, her eternal quest. Winner or finalist in various competitions including the Canadian Music Competition, winner of many prizes and grants, Uliana Drugova successfully performs on the best stages in Quebec.
