The Quatuor Saguenay (Alcan) and the Music Masters

2019 Fundraising Concert

With its rich 28-year career, the Quatuor Saguenay (formerly the Quatuor Alcan) is famous for its interpretations of the great string quartet classics. Its members are terrific communicators and promoters of classical music. They break out of the conventional concert box by offering a rhythmic, vibrant and captivating repertoire that makes classical music accessible and inspiring!

The Quatuor Saguenay enjoys an unquestioned reputation for excellence in Canada and elsewhere. Its originality, contagious enthusiasm, unique sound and remarkable cohesion have contributed to the spread of its enviable fame, both on stage and in recordings. The four instrumentalists of the Quartet also occupy the first chairs in their respective sections in the Orchestre Symphonique du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.
